Jackrabbit doing bonus math work- attempting to figure our lat and long from a known position on a chart (he got it nearly exactly right to the minute anyway)
Sunrise in Muros, Spain... The Rias of Galicia Spain are a pretty place to spend a  few weeks cruising
Why not wear Porter's swim goggles when slicing onions? Practical and fashionable.
Bonus to nautical flag literate readers who can decipher Molly's T-shirt

A typical scene of Porter lying on our bed, listening to music (Les Miserables is the latest.) Above him is a linoleum block print we bought from an artist in Camarete du Sur in France just because we like puffins and the guy was fun to play the "we don't speak your language" game with...
From a harbor, we sighted a mountain that looked like it would be fun to climb. On the way up, this waterfall presented a lovely photo op. Most of all it was nice to be wandering in the hills, finding our way.

Ever the ham and "poser" we give you Mr. Jackrabbit Larrabee Barnes
On top, nice view down to the harbor. Sila is just visible in the upper right crook of Porter's hat
We have actually left our life in the USA on an adventure to visit, test, and play on every single playground (regardless of age appropriateness) in Europe... Photo with Christopher flying off the merry go 'round was out of focus...
What can we say.. maybe just nothing is best...
Molly gets a new pair of earrings in Santiago de Compestelo
See Jack's blog post re the fire fighting helicopter
Not many toys on the boat, but everything on the boat is a toy... this clothespin arrow later became a very big fish eating a smaller fish
Daddy forgets his hat and to wear sunscreen, young boys with higher levels of preparation loan him a hat for the sun and a new look is born
"Honey, why don't we side the garage in oyster shells...what do you think?"
We keep going until the boat stops and the water runs out. Fortunately, the water comes back, like every 6 hours or so, and we can keep going...
Never mind a garage sided in sea shells, how about an entire church?
Brothers playing on a park sculpture at sunset in Sanxenxo, Spain
Molly keeps deleting the inappropriate captions that Christopher writes for this photo.
The smile is for finally receiving permission to navigate in the national park AND permission to anchor in the national park (yup they are separate permissions) - they are masters of bureaucracy here
At the end of each math class, we have a shared teachable moment.  This is round two of working on understanding latitude and longitude. The orange segments helped us understand the difference between how latitude and longitude lines run over the surface of the earth.
Rebecca D'Elia take note... Jack Rabbit is gunning for your title of "Selfie Master"
Full moon rising over Molly's shoulder. Photo by Jack Rabbit who has been working to improve his photo-taking ability.
Jack snaps a great shot of his now 11-year old brother Porter
