We have had strong winds since mid-morning yesterday and are making steady progress. It blew F6 (22-26 knots) all night and we have been on a beam reach with a double reefed main and the staysail since sunset yesterday. The seas are pretty confused with wind waves crosswise to the swell making Sila's motion lively. We might make it to the SE side of Easter Island to anchor late tomorrow afternoon but are just as likely to have to stand off shore to await dawn on Thursday to make for our landfall. Crew all fast asleep as the sun rises on our 14th day at sea for this passage. All is well. Cheers - Christopher
