Blue sky day with Mount Desert Island just visible and Sila's odometer tics a milestone. Average US vehicle covers 12,000 miles per year, so we are keeping up over the past three years... Feeling grateful for all we have experienced as we sail into the waters where I first learned to sail. - Christopher

ReplyDeleteWill you be showing a map of your whole trip on the blog?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you have kept a map log too.
It would be great to trace your "boat steps" when you are back on land.
Yes! We will be posting a map soon as one of our final blog entries. Thanks for asking
DeleteOh my what a milestone! Do publish the chart of your entire route.
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean you never turned the GPS off?
ReplyDeleteSort of. We always have the GPS on when we are moving and when we are anchored. We do turn it off when we are in a marina or when Sila is on the hard.
