Writers' Block

If you are a regular reader of the blog, you know that the primary authors are 9 and 11 years old. Both writers have been struggling lately to think of blog-worthy topics, despite a reminder from yours truly that most readers don't know much  about what we are doing everyday and what we are seeing, let alone how we think and feel about it all. As such, we would welcome suggestions, prompts, questions, curiosities.  No question or idea is too small or too grand. You can either post them as a comment on the blog or email them to me directly at mollypbarnes@gmail.com and I will share them with the young writers.

We do read aloud the comments so that everyone onboard hears them, but we have found it difficult to respond to them directly.

Thanks for reading and for any prompts you may have. Cheers- Molly

  1. More verse. How do you prepare and clean up from a typical dinner? When you are coming into a port or anchorage under sail, what are all the jobs to do to bring Sila from sail power to everything stowed and ship shape, and who does what jobs?

Note: your comments are public, should be family friendly, and of course concise... and it is often weeks or months until we actaully see and read comments (so we typically do not respond to questions in comments, email us instead)
