Jack and Molly learning more about the Castelo de Jorge in Lisbon.
Yep. Below this sign there was a small wall behind which one could pee into a small drain. Love the convenience!
In case you think it is all fun and games on Sila, here is math class at the marina near Lisbon.
And we even have school while on passage. While sailing offshore south from Lisbon, we had history class.
After an exhausting bit of home school, the boys nap in the cockpit. The little red speaker on the shelf above them has turned out to be one of the most valuable items on board. We often listen to music or audio books, especially while motoring.
Porter and Molly enjoying a moment in the cockpit.
We never tire of seeing dolphins and porpoises near Sila's bow. On this day, sailing south from Lisbon along the coast of Portugal, these ones swam with us for a while and later we saw a pod of at least 50 dolphins all swimming in the same direction, clearly in hot pursuit of dinner. Every single time we have a dolphin sighting, all four of us drop what we are doing and scramble to the best possible viewing spots given the conditions. When sailing along the surface, you can forget about the ample wildlife that is right below the boat and I think the dolphins remind us.
