We had our first real day
of sailing as we left Brehat on the 8th and went to Guernsey. Our
time on Guernsey was spent almost entirely in Castle Cornet. This is the first
British castle we have visited but it is one of many chateaus and castles we
have explored. The boys are very interested in the cannons and the defensive
capabilities of these centuries-old forts. The parents are more interested in
the construction, architecture, and manner of living in them.- Molly
