Where I Will Always Return. -JackRabbit
My sanctuary,
My fortress,
My place of retreat.
Where I will always return.
It's always there,
But not always good.
Changing in mood.
It's a bright orange peach,
Pulsing with juice,
Then a dried shriveled fig,
Empty of life.
I love it,
I hate it,
I could never do without it.
A battery, a tank,
Always filling up,
Filling up when I am interested.
A book, a movie,
An incredible sight
These all help charge the battery.
But often I reach,
And pull out what I need,
Sadly faster, than it can produce.
The stuff inside slips through my fingers.
And morphs into a thing.
Dragons and Knights
Ships and worlds
Aliens and space
Anything
From a fish to a whale
A planet to a rock
Anything Anything.
What would I do without Imagination.
