My mouth slowly closed
And exploded with flavor
My heart lifted inside me
As I tried to savor
As I swallowed the juice
And the blueberries too
The taste hung around
Before the next chew
I heard the flop of my feet
As I jogged down the road
Running to pass
The parents as they strode
I picked some more blueberries
And lovingly ate
Snarfing them up
At a speedy rate
Then I straightened up
And again started to run
A price to pay
For the mouthful of fun
I love blueberries
Whenever they're ripe
They're a great fruit
A glorious type
This hike near Songdal
Brought plenty to do
Like excellent berries
That turn my tongue blue
I have always loved blueberries. Whether they are in pie, on ice cream, in fruit salad or just straight blueberries, I think they are delicious. Having eaten blueberries only twice in the past two years, being able to easily get endless fresh handfuls of them as we walk was a real treat. -JackRabbit
A few weeks ago we went on a hike on an island called Kinn. We ate lots of blueberries then, too.
Our hands were blue from picking so many
Near Sogndal, we picked and ate lots too.
Blueberries were not the only cool things on that hike. This is me on the top of Molden, overlooking one of the arms of the deep and beautiful Sognefjord
Hello JackRabbit and Porter! I saw your beautiful boat in Egersund Harbour yesterday, and by the flag I guessed you had travelled far.
