We are very happy to report that after sailing for 24 1/2 days, we have covered 3,161 miles since leaving South Georgia and now we are anchored at 07°55.2'S 014°24.7'W- Ascension Island.
We are all relieved to be here- in one piece and in great shape. We will be here for a few days and then will be bound for the Cape Verde Islands, another 1800 miles north of here. All is well on board Sila.
