Galapagos-Easter Island Passage Day 3

We are getting into the groove. Most of the crew has their sea legs, Sila is sailing steadily onward, and spirits are high.

We have lost three lures so far - the first was to a nice looking tuna, the second was snapped off by a shark, and the third to a very large Mahi Mahi which easily broke off 150# monofilament (maybe good we didn't have to land that one...)

Proud parent moment: I awoke to Porter shaking my foot, "Daddy we might need so help getting the boat on course, we are over 10 degree off course." By the time I put on shoes, harness, and emerged on deck Jack had done all of the following: released the wind steering gear, hand steered the boat back onto course, engaged the autopilot, adjusted the wind steering gear, disengaged the autopilot, and re-engaged the wind steering gear. He is 10. Soon I won't be needed around hear at all.

It has been cloudy but dawn today is mares tails and mostly clear skies - today looks to be a nice day for our all day celebration of MOLLY'S BIRTHDAY!

Cheers - Christopher, Molly, Pete, Porter, & Jack
