New Decoration on Sila Part Two

Cyndi Kresge, a long time friend of the Peterson family from Lake Angelus, was the first to correctly translate Jack's code flags
The flags are the symbols for "Aspicio Laboris I Perago Laboris." While that may actually mean "see the work, do the work," we take it to mean this:

See the job, Do the job!

We learned this expression from Eric Peterson (no relation to Molly's family), the Head of the St. George's School in Rhode Island, and his son, Sam. Sam lived with us for a couple of weeks last June to help take care of Porter and Jack while we were working our last, busy weeks at HMI.

At this point, the aphorism has taken on a life of its own on Sila. The code flags decorate our primary living space and I often hear one of the boys saying it to the other as a not-so-subtle reminder to clean up.  The next step, of course, is to actually live by these words! - Molly
