Les Miserables

In June 2013, Jack came across some of the songs from the sound track for Les Miserables. He asked Mama what it was. She took Rabbit and me through the musical, playing the songs and explaining the story. Rabbit and I loved it. We played the music so many times that Mama and Daddy had to make rules about how often we could play it.

As a Christmas present, Mama and Daddy gave us tickets to see Les Miserables at the Queen's  Theater in London. It was so fun to hear all our favorite songs and see the acting for the first time. Mama said it was a great production. I could not agree more, though our reasons were undoubtedly different.
Outside of the theater, we wait impatiently for seven o'clock when the show starts.
I have been lucky enough to see a variety of productions, mostly in Denver. I have enjoyed seeing Mary Poppins with a school group, the Nutcracker, Lion King, Billy Elliot, and Blue Man Group. But seeing Les Miserables was special for one main reason. We had waited two years to see it, thinking about and listening to Les Miserables all the time. Now I got to see it in a place as famous as Queen's Theater. The singing, stage effects, interesting theater, and returning memories encompassed a fabulous experience that is my highlight of our trip to London. -Porter
